Back on Track!

Well, at least a little bit. I went to Ramsey this morning and rode the bike I like for 24 minutes (the max for the program, which is so odd). I should have had the program at a higher level, but it’s a start. There was practically no one there, which was fantastic. It will be open until the 24th, so I think I’ll go everyday until we leave for Ellerslie. After all, I don’t have much else to do!

Except Christmas shopping, which we have done none of. Really, I would rather spend time with my family doing things–even if it’s playing a board game or taking a walk. But I will try to find something that each person on our list will like.

Today for lunch we ate at the Hilltop Grille to celebrate Reed’s cousin’s graduation! It was very nice and lots of family were there. Hilltop is where Reed and I went for our anniversary.

Once you quit blogging, it’s hard to start up again–even though it’s something I did nearly every day for months! I will try to be better and have something to write about!

7 Things

7 things…

7 things I plan to do before I die: (no particular order)

1. Visit every continent. 2. See a monkey in the wild. 3. Have a fish pond in my garden. With Fishies! 4. Go on a cruise. 5. Have a life list of 1000. 6. Drive across the country, sea to sea. 7. Learn to swim (laps).

7 things I can do:

1. Make people laugh. 2. Ride my bike a long way. 3. Walk a long way. 4. Cook pretty well. 5. Think up adventures. 6. Chatter. 7. Procrastinate

7 things I cannot do:

1. Sing well. 2. Ballroom dance. 3. Run a 5k. 4. Write music. 5. Play the mandolin. 6. Make a quilt. 7. Juggle.

7 things that attract me to another person:

1. Intelligence 2. Kindness 3. Silliness 4. They act on their beliefs. 5. Non-dogmatic 6. Radical left political views 7. Unconventional

7 things I’ve said most often while I’ve been away:

1. Raarrr! 2. You’re doing ok. (to myself) 3. At the end of this section, you can have a break/some chocolate/play sudoku/work on the puzzle. 4. Next semester I will study more. 5. I don’t want to cook! 6. I don’t want to eat Chinese. 7. This house is a mess.

I stole this from Denise, with a little modification. No adventures so far, although I did get my hair cut–which is cute and fun and I like a lot. Of course, I’m going to have to figure out how to do it myself, but I don’t think that will be so bad. After lunch, I’m going to start cleaning so that we can put the Christmas tree up in a clean house. I really should say out, not up, because our tree is a wee little tree. Very pretty, though!

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to ME, Happy BIRTH-DAY to MEEEE, Happy Birthday to Me!

I’m no longer a quarter! I can’t believe that I’ve been seriously writing in this blog for over a year. That’s a wee bit scary, isn’t it? I can’t wait until the 14th!!!!!! Then I will be FREE to run around and be an adventure monkey again.

Return to Normal

Finals are almsot over…just one more exam. This has been a hard finals time for me, but it’s almost over and next semester will be better.

Today has been my off day. I’ve just worked on my Notesies edits, although they won’t get them until tomorrow. Poor things, I can only imagine they’re on pins and needles waiting for my pronouncements. Harhar.

On the good side, I walked about four miles today. I haven’t exercised much/at all since my last comment, so I feel a little yucky. Now that I just have one exam to study for I will have time to make my life more normal–including moving more! Woohoo!
